One of the noteworthy and significant initiatives by the centre is starting a discourse series on 'Eternal values in a changing society'. Inaugurated by Sidhinadhananda Swamy, a scholar and monk from Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, on July 15, 2000, the series had several erudite scholars and speakers such as Dr SukumarAzhikode, Janab Abdu Samad Samadani, Fr Albert Nambiaparambil, Sri Bodhananda Swami, Aswati Thirunaal Gauri Lakshmi Bhai and V Panoli participating in the discussions.
